Akkina Downing Poet Free verse

Chocolate and Wine

She don’t need much
She don’t ask much  
Just a box of chocolate 
A bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon 
And life is delightfully delicious 

Diamonds are girls best friend and so is chocolate 
Chocolate is her daily dose 
her therapist 
her energy 
her happiness 
her love

Come to think of it - 
Everything is good when made with chocolate 

Roses are red and so is wine 
Wine is feeling sooo fine 
keep calm 
happy thoughts
Happy life 
drink more wine 

Come to think of it-
The more you drink wine the better to help save water

So there
chocolate and wine
A delicious sweet life

Since you are a lover of chocolate and red vino...I suggest you try a Malbec with a Belgian Brix bar...the kind you have to stab with a knife like an icepick on a block of solidified water...heavenly!
