China

We're going to China.
It's supposed to be a
'learning experience'
my mom says

and we'll be going
with your cousin,
aunt, grandparents,
and of course, me,
your father,
and your two brothers
she continues

China.
Really?
I ask

All we're going to do
is walk the Great Wall
Go to the Forbidden City
Visit the Summer Palace
Travel to the Olympic Village

See the Beijing Zoo
Go to some jade factory
then to a pearl factory
Go to a 'tea service'

(At least, that's what
the travel guide says)

I can't even speak Chinese
How the heck am I supposed
to last in China for a whole week?

I am seriously upset
But maybe

Just maybe

By the time I get back,
I'll have an amazing story to tell.

Like this poem about holidays and family times, China would be pretty amazing place to visit. I like the hustle and bustle of the family goings on in your poem, nice one!
