Chimera
CHIMERA
Chimera in the modern world, you’ll find
Is an illusion or fabrication of the mind
In architecture, a beast carved in stone
But if seen, it is best to leave them alone
Or an organism with two different DNAs
With eggs fertilised in two different ways
In contrast to the myths in ancient Greek
Where it’s a scary monster that you seek
With the head of a lion, and a serpent tail
A fire-breathing dragon, and it’s female
Some say that a goat grows on its back
But thought dangerous, as it will attack
It means all that is grotesque or illusory
When a fight to the death is compulsory
