-chilly-

-Daily Poetry #14, February 11, 2017-
Word: Chilly

“It's
too cold.”
You say as
you wait around.
The bus won't be here
for another hour still.
You groan as more snow falls down,
making it harder to wait here.
Another person walks by and sits,
being bored, you take a good look at them.
“I-It's too cold,” their teeth continue to click,
and you can't help but feel sympathy.
This person clearly has been here
longer than you have, be kind.
“I agree,” you hand them
your scarf and smile.
“Thank you,” they sigh,
and vanish
into
air.
