Chilling Out

Some days, it's best to keep still! One needs to get some rest. And abuse of your time might make you quite ill. Get off-line, enjoy your time on earth, It is, after all, the very best! Alas, we are at Times like gerbils in cages! We run on endless treadmills That desire to be Number One, wildly rages. Take time to be centered, be you,be loving and be still. We are not our poetry, nay, we are far more than than that. There is a world that needs tending to. We are humans that think, and more intelligent than any cat! So, take a breath, relax,, close your eyes, outdoors in your best sun hat. 8/23/2021 1

Excellent advise -- but, my cat shook his head side to side in disagreement to your cat statement, knowing me a lot better than you do. Meow! I'm opening the can...Geez! Have a little patience! Back to your fine write -- Blessings on this day of rest...even God took one if I recall correctly.

Prince de Mino.sorry for late reply Today is 8/26,,,, Nutty President. Going to let thousands die in Afghanistan. Hanging, beheading. That moron. One can't move that many in three days. Has he no brains? I need a year of rest, your Highness. There are Americans of all colors and all political parties there. They kept us safe. Death is their reward? $@£¥%. Pangie Pangie

Nice chilled out relaxed feeling to this poem. And the message is so relevant to the lives of many in this fast paced chaotic world.

You're right, being stuck at a screen for hours on end isn't healthy. Tom

8/26. No is is not! It begins to consume your life Like a lion. I know people use work time to comment and post? That's how consuming this can be. I understand If one is is a lockdowned country. That's totally insane too.viruses do not die just change, so hiding does no good' ugh, Biden is coming up at lunch. Some combination! Poison.((( Pangie

Love this one, Pangie. If only we could relax and chill out as do Jeff and Irene! They are smarter than most of us! Bob

Hello Anne Lise. Yes, trying to reign myself in, so to speak...summer lasts long where I live.unlike the Midwest with gray skies, cold air, sleet and snow are in abundance, yikes..that’s why I moved to the West. I do not miss the Midwest one bit, Pangie
