Chill Pill Stillness
we do not say any words right now
good times are back, so let's just sit still
too many times we allowed life to be the determining factor of our direction
we gave too much room for work and maintaining to overtake us
instead of loving each other, we made love to the darkness of the world we created ourselves
instead of blaming ourselves, we took our frustrations out on those we loved most
we ruined beautification so much so that eventually all we had was each other
we made misery Christmas ornaments for our insanity's Christmas tree
the presents we opened were were the poison of our unwanted presence
we threw away the prized possessions but kept the stresses that chained and bounded us
after several business trips to many realms of reflection, here we are....just quiet
here in the aftermath of apologies and promises to change, we just stop and take a break for a while
right here at the roots of our united oasis of love for each other, we just take it all in
....thinking about the questions marks that will be ever apparent in the morning....
