Children Celebrating Easter
Scattered everywhere in the backyard.
Polka dotted bright-coloured eggs.
Waiting for the children to rise from their beds.
Celebrating Easter.
Baskets are waiting all around the table.
Jumping from their beds.
The children carry their baskets as they fill them with eggs.
Looking forward to finding out what is inside.
Scattered around and counted to see how many each one received.
While rejoicing that Jesus has risen.
To save our terrible sins.
Showing children how to celebrate our Lord and Savior.
Easter to children can mean many things.
From Easter eggs, chocolate bunnies and decorating.
So many ways to teach while they are young.
How blessed we truly are.
Hosanna is the highest.
From the torture Jesus bared.
To only rise up again.
To save us all, from sin and sorrow.
