Childlike

I can laugh all night
Until sunrise
That might sound childish

I can act foolish
But I deserve
To be treated right

I’m proud of myself
For preserving my
My child innocence

I can be naïve
But I’d rather
Use my childlike brains

I have a grand gift
Of uplifting
The distraught spirits

I can be mature
But who cares...I’m
Happy-go-lucky
