Childish Chatter
Blue eyed blond girl bends the ear
Of that not so wise woman sent here
To care for her and that rambunctious baby sister
Where is mommy?
When will she be back?
Do you make cookies?
Can I have a snack?
Do you like dogs?
Are you staying long?
The woman hears a noise, not a who, and jumps
She is jittery
What's a little girl to do?
The woman smiles and pulls out her Mary Poppins bag
No Umbrella
But the little girls aren't sad
A lighted pen is met with some giggling delight
Memory cards, oh what a sight
To play for hours on end
With joy
But never silence
