Childhood Memory

Dusty light fogged the attic,
antique smell brought back my past…
rows of smiling dulcet dolls,
building blocks and kitchen sets,
my childhood hidden treasures
lay beside a keepsake box,

the teeth inside were not mine.

So wonderful, Subimal! The farther I get from childhood, I have a change of perspective. I’d once grab onto all the nostalgia, now I look to the next generations. Faving this lovely write!
