Childhood Innocence

remember the days of childhood
don’t you wish you could go back
when all you had to worry about
was what to have for snack
when love was love
and hate was hate
with nothing in between
when everything you say
is really what you mean
when someone smiled at you
you always smiled back
when you never had to worry
about the things you lack
look deep down inside your heart
and let that child out
its the only way to enjoy
what life is truly about
to be innocent, to be loving
and never having to judge
to always keep on pushing
even though it doesn’t budge
feel,live,love
and don’t forget to laugh
live life to its fullest never settle for half

Well said! I like how innocence has an integrity inherent in it
