Childhood Delight

Abounding with delightful childhood* experiences, awesome Blessed am I by the Lord --- Source of goodness-bliss Cheered along care-cuddles, more than candies Doted dear daughter of Mom and Dad… Enclosed with encompassing parents’ love everyday Freed was I against insecurity’s forces within family joy’s fortress Growing up through godliness-guidance and gracious grants Heart of mine heralded happy, healthy home… I thank and praise God for imparted inspiring influence Jubilant siblings sharing jackets, even jokes and jeers Kindness prevailed warmed by good night’s hugs and kisses Lingering still until now… laughter while learning new language. Memories of grade school age moved me toward merriment-mirth Novel discoveries: names, nations, needs never to neglect, so numerous Opened my mind to opportunities’ offerings for knowledge-optimization Prepared, propped and propelled me to what and who am I now as a person. *1Corinthians13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
