Childhood Days

He thought he was in trouble thinking he was really in for it
A great bursting of his bubble in now causing him such a fit
He was just a young child and by his Father he was caught
Kids get pretty wild forgetting mostly all of what we taught

He had a slight fear in his eyes one often mistook as tears
For he quickly had to come to realize just as father nears
Then all the emotion kicks in and the tears suddenly flow
Kind of like our own sin as being something we can know

Now looking from above the child has no place left to hide
Yet only responding in love even in knowing the child lied
Holding the child in each arm laying his head on his chest
That nothing will ever harm, is but our own Fathers quest

Soon he's back at play that memory just a distant thought
We have all lost our way in something that he had sought
With the Father now so near in your own heart don't fear
In wiping away your own tear everything will become clear

My senses in totality are in awe of your wonderful lines. Liquefied bliss from the boil of glorious words has brought out enchanting aroma beyond scaling. 7 is simply an underscore for this fine share.

Thank You Fumon. I give all credit to the Holy Spirit for every word and how they touch others. His Gifts are endless as I pray He Blesses you abundantly.

Beautiful, touching poem. 1st Line, 3rd Stanza - you wanted hide, not hid. I truly enjoyed it, Vincent ...

Thank you Kay Kay. Appreciate the heads up on the word hid. Sometimes I'll find them mistakes like 2 years later and be like, what the heck? So thank you again and have a great day. I also changed the title. I must of had a bad day or something. Take care!
