Word: Childhood

With
a fire
burning bright,
let out a cry!
Break through the world, search
the many crevices
hidden away to others.
Let imagination carry
you along, let it be the wind in
your sail as you drift through life’s ocean.
Keep your eyes wide and open, as life will
only give you hints to the right path.
With my temporary pushes,
kick your legs out as you swing.
With that murmur through time,
cry out as you leap.
Life will be hard,
but smile,
and then
jump.
