Childhood

Quite uneasy feel I
to break,this shell
mesmerizing it is!
The laughter, the
innocence, Oh!
I the child, my world
the nuisances, the
joys,the fancies
makes me, reluctant
to leave it!
My days end with
"I am I grown up?"
My heart leaps
up for it again!

Childhood, a wonderful time for some, a joyous time, for others a hopeless time. I am glad your heart leaps at the remembrance of yours.
