Child of Mine

Child of mine you are so
                       divine.
You play so fine in your
                 own little mind.
Loving you has been a climb,
                  and now your nine.
            You've never committed a crime,
and your soon to be in your prime.
Your always well in line and you
don't ask me to spend a dime.
Child of mine you have ways to
remind me life can be so blind.

The last 5 words are the most powerful part of this verse. Very astute.
