Notes About The Poem

Child Jesus

Viva Santo Niño! Viva Child Jesus! We dance in your grace, We sing for you, Oh, Child Christ! Oh, Child Christ, In your festive season, we delight Touch us and our children, You are their patron saint. You are their patron saint, With your heart so meek and mild, Your obedience from infancy You ‘re a bright star who guides. You’re a bright star who guides, Leading graciously to one’s dream In your red vest you spread love, Our verdant life in you vest of green! ©2016Leonora Galinta All Rights Reserved Jan. 16,2016 4.30pm

A very lovely poem to commemorate such an important religious feast, Leonora. As Victor said, we do not celebrate this specific feast in Malta, but we have many others to make up for it! ~ All the best and big hugs:) ~ paul

Thank you so much my dear friend Paul.I'm glad to know that you both were from Malta and what I knew, Maltese are also religious, faithful, honest, very loving and sincere people. I'm so happy to know you both and one of my friends here. Back in my country, they've great celebration on this day, not in my place but places whose Nino Jesus is their patron saint, particularly in place where the great Spanish discoverer landed, year 1521.
