Child Is Frightened

Child too informed
What is to become of us?
A worried eight-year-old asks.

Child is frightened.
The family is a train wreck.
Every day worse than the last.

Why do adults share
Horrible possibilities
With their anxious young children?

Train wrecks must be avoided at all possible cost, a child should always be protected first and foremost by the adult no matter the adult's fears. x Caren Krutsinger November 11, 2019 at 10:03 AM I am saddened that adults have adult conversations with their children present.
