Child Is Frightened

Child too informed
What is to become of us?
A worried eight-year-old asks.

Child is frightened.
The family is a train wreck.
Every day worse than the last.

Why do adults share
Horrible possibilities
With their anxious young children?

Unfortunately, in today's world, children have to grow up far too quickly to survive. Train wrecks must be avoided at all possible cost, a child should always be protected first and foremost by the adult no matter the adult's fears. x

I am saddened that adults have adult conversations with their children present.

Because preparing them is our job? hummm... too much preparation however, take the wonder from every moment. Fear is bad, wonder is better. Don't be afraid. Pray, wonder wins every time. Ann

It is sad that some parents share worst scenarios with their children.
