No one really knows what goes on behind closed doors. Your heart rendering piece reminds me of the Menendez brothers. They should receive mental help instead of prison for life. Your poem respectfully expresses those open wounds that cannot be healed without some form of therapy. You describe that kind of pain well in your wonderful poem Caren. Bravo! xxoo

Thank you Connie. This subject is often not spoken of, because of the rage and sorrow it causes, but until it is spoken of, it cannot be solved, fixed, or eradicated.

Everyday I have to go through child abuse. Feeling so helpless, so shocked, so angry finding no remedy. How the wicked mass to get punished ? When n how our society will be reformed!

Anisha, I am so sad that child abuse has ever existed; it lasts the child's entire life affecting everything!

Wow - a most touching and concise ball of concern. Informative and troubling.A FAVE for so many wrong reasons - but definitely well penned, Caren.

Thank you Line. It is in the forefront of my mind when I am at school, as I am on the front line.
