My cat Renfield would lounge inside my bird feeder. Though I disapproved, I thought that was a great strategy.

cute one, Jan, they tend to stalk and wage their tail very slow before they pounce their prey , I see them around here all the time.

Great one, Jan. I have a bird feeder outside one of my windows and my dear old cat Jeff is driven nuts keeping an eye on them. It really gets him going when a squirrel shows up to raid the bird feeder!

I always used to worry when I saw the fledglings in our nesting box and a cat on the fence, but the box hasn't been used these last 2 years:-( hugs jan xx
