CHICKA MY BEAUTIFUL GIRL

What will I do without you?
My beautiful angel girl
Sometimes you get into mischief
And you surely like to eat, especially doughnuts
You were always faithful since day one
In your younger days
You were always full of fun
And in the meantime
I knew you were getting older
And you started to slow down
When I called your name, it was hard for you to hear
But you always knew the smell of food
You used to bark a lot when you first came here
I know right now you are going to Heaven
I know tomorrow I will start the day without you
And in my heart, I will try to understand
Each tear that falls from my face
Is equal to each day you were in my life
I know deep down we will never be apart
Every time I think of you, day or night
I know you will always be in my heart
For you to come into my life
The night you left us, I held you so tight
And inside myself, I ask why
You never bothered the other dogs
But boy, did you enjoy your treats
I watch you as you always go in circles
I still get up at night to see if you are alright
But now I realize your're in Heaven
With the rest of your family
Especially Sadie
Well, I hope to see you again
When we are reunited in Heaven
Love you always, Grandpa
