Chick a Dee Dee Dee
Chick-a-dee-dee-dee
Chirped with the greatest glee.
So happy upon that tree.
More of you now I see,
a quick count gives me three.
Chick-a-dee-dee-dee
So small yet so free.
Flying from here to the sea.
Oh how nice it would be,
to leave this spot and flee.
Chick-a-dee-dee-dee
Take me away I plea.
If only you could carry me,
to fly away on a spree,
where I can relax on a coastal scree.
Chick-a-dee-dee-dee
Watching the waves I foresee,
finding comfort around a shade tree,
as thee.
Would you agree?
Chick-a-dee-dee-dee
Only request that I’d decree.
Is that we bring my lovely.
For without she,
I will never be free!
