Chicago Beef
Windy, didn't do it any justice
as I noticed tangles in your hair
hiding out by the bean
beams of light
bouncing off
blinding
but I could still see,
your hunger
down by the lake,
your craving
a piece of heritage
a wanting, to partake
the smells only soothed so much
desires welled up and wanted to touch
to slip slowly and dip
inside
buttery bronzed buns
entered then tongued
magically melted,
mouth watered
well done
spiced just right
juices ran
again and again
a defending of the night
unclothed, the mind
the world she sees
love is still alive for us to take
