Cherish the Moment
As I think back in time
I remember my Mom saying
"Cherish the moment, don't rush..."
At the time I thought she was just wanting
me not to have fun.
I wish I had a moment ,
just one with her today.
Memories fade as you age.
Little things are no longer important.
Cherish the moment
Rejoice in the small pleasures
that make life enjoyable...
Allow time for yourself
Don't throw it away...
Every chance you have
show your love...
Reach out to the ones you love
take them by the hand
rejoice they are by your side.
If you are in love
don't let it slip away.
Hold on tight ,
making the opportunity
to be the only love they will ever need.
Allow love to grow and blossom
enriching both your lives.
The harder the row
the stronger you will plow.
Take charge of your emotions .
True love,
those simple and pure words
convey all of the feelings
you have for each other.
Where there once was two,
one now exists,two halves,two sides,
each complementing
and completing the other.
That is the love you share.

Let it not fade away,
and keep your vigilance...
Your reward will be,
the most sought after
of all experiences:
that of true love...
