Cherish

Cute cats and dogs throughout my life that shared their souls with me.
Home, of course, and family, the treasures of my heart.
Each dawn – to wake and once again, a brand new day to start.
Routines I love – like going out or writing poetry.
Innumerable sweet moments living in my memory.
Special things -the many “firsts” that from my mind will not depart.
Heaven-sent – true friends – be they with me still or now apart.
