Cheery Morn

As
Sun rose
To new dew
On humid day,
With raised fluffy tail
A three striped palm squirrel
Endlessly cried 'chip chip chip'
Fitful at gladly chirping birds
The spring's first rain had sprinkled such joy
That squirrel wanted it all for himself.
