Notes About The Poem

For Tania Kitchin's 'A Cheery Etheree ' Contest

Cheery Deary

Life
is more
worth living
when it is shared
with someone giving -
someone who greets each day
with a smile that fills your soul
like rays from the bright yellow sun,
dispelling gloom from your days of gray.
Find yourself a deary who is cheery!

Andrea, yes this is well done and a great message to boot. Makes me glad to be married to the right person! You're making me smile this morning.

We need to be cheerful, not always possible when friends leave you without a reason. Hugs.

Such a profound and true etheree, so well woven! You do etherees so well dear andrea. I love etherees, maybe its time for me to do one again. I love the last two lines the most. “ with a smile that fills your soul” awwn! Love that. Best wishes sweet Andrea! Sending you light.

I actually did a chapbook all etheree, when I waw at shadowpoetry. You know how 55 is my lucky number, well, an etheree adds up to 55 syllables! (from what I recall)
