Cheers to cheerios

Cheers originated in the U.K.,
a long time ago, and is used
as a toast as most people know..
It later evolved into cheerio, a
form of farewell said to folks
as they go..
Wanting to bring joy to the breakfast table,
General Mills chose cheerios as his cereal label.

This made me smile dear Nancy. It’s well written and very clever. You still hear people say cheers (as a form of thank you as well) and I love cheerios! They are frequently filling up my cereal bowl :) Really enjoyed this read and I shall think of it when eating them. Hugs and smiles :):) xx

And I'm so glad he did. Too bad the Brits couldn't have come up with something like the Hawaiians did with their "aloha". I must admit, though, that that doesn't sound much like a breakfast food. A very enjoyable read, Nancy.

Dear Anne-Lise, Cheers to you as well and have a blessed weekend. I'm off to help my ex bury our 100 lb Huskita as my ex had surgery recently. God Bless and it's always nice to hear from you.
