Checking In
It’s wonderful when friends check in
When something’s out of whack.
It lets you know that there are people
Who have got your back.
An email, phone call or a text
Is all it really takes
So you’re aware somebody’s up
For any news that breaks.
We all lead busy lives and so
It’s special and it’s rare
When relatives and friends reach out,
Reminding us they care.
