Checkered Life

Tigers, generally, come in only one type,
wearing a coat with a vertical stripe. 
My dad's stripes go sideways, and as one expects, 
my fur is covered quite nicely with checks.

now this is just clever and creative! I bet the other kids gave the checkered one a hard time...so hard to be different. Sounds like you're comfortable in your checkered skin :-) Sara

Yup, that's how kids are! Today, I seem to be looking through checkered-colored glasses.
