Cheater Cheater
Plain placid life, like the ever background noise!
Mundane bonds, which once tickled,
Asphyxiated slowly reaching the end!
Unsatiated she aches for spring to return,
Eyes await to be pulled from trance!
Like a tornado he came to quench thirst,
Flooded the barren lands!
Swelled the heart, chided the brain,
Cheater cheater, you'll inflict pain!
Yearning to end the existence monotonous ,
She broke the shackles,in his arms now she resides!
Long lost spring, brought blooming paradise,
Once that sparked is now a fire; All despise!
Perky buoyant she chirped back to life,
Alas, cooled the fire, she was just a wife!
Lyrics went banal, bored by routine!
Anticipated to breathe in Romance,
Hiding the cracks, she still pranced!
She broke the chains to be shackled again,
Gateway now she searches!
Like refreshing, drizzle he came,
Soothing her burning charred soul!
Swelled the heart, chided the brain,
Cheater cheater, you'll inflict pain!
