Cheated

Look away fair maiden, I pray
Even my reflection covers his eyes
Ashamed of the man I am today
As my soul, within me cries

I pray for your heart to quickly mend
As I cover my face in shame
Cast aside, like dust in the wind
With only myself to blame

Empty, I've lost your affection
For you've promised another your love
Mired, in the depths of rejection
A Love, I'm not worthy of

With the love that's inside you depleted
I'm so sorry my love, that I cheated
