Lost in this familiar void, between reality and thought
There are constant voices, you hear that never speak out
Many thoughts, many questions, both true and oh so wrong
Many emotions misunderstood, perhaps lost in a familiar song
Ramblings of some past deception, justification in your mind
Confusion of what is true, what terrible lies you may find
Reliving a scenario, that you thought were so true
Unaware that this uncertainty, is this truly all in you
This is the dialog we have, so deep inside all our own minds
This is chatter that we all have, many thoughts of many kinds
A constant chatter, so hard to control, so hard to shut down
In our nightmares and dreams they sometimes may be found
Your chatter is your minds song, it sings its song for only you
This chatter is your reverberating thoughts, old and so new
An internal conversation, for one and only you are the guest
Seeking answers to many questions, though lost in many quests
May you find ways to still this constant battle within your mind
Try to be in a state of calmness and contentment that redefine
And still your mind with meditation and calming deep breaths
Guardian angels may appear, within your subconscious depths
