Chasing Snow

Watching snow collide... Watching snow ascend... Watching it zig zag with technical pride Watchung snow descend... I view my window as the wind lets out its blow Caught a gaze at it a few times about some years ago Autumn hasn’t ended yet, my friend I’ll meet you from beginning to end I got distracted… So sidetracked from the start, Chasing snow on the TV screen I got attracted… So deceived with lust in heart The snow outside is glimmering gold Our imagination inside never grows old I keep staring at the television screen, Wondering where you’ve been…again… Bewildered, yet calm and collected I want to be accepted, not rejected I saw snow on the TV screen, But I’d rather chase snow outside, so don’t intervene Life is full of distractions Generally, It’s for our satisfactions.. Yet, millions suffer day by day I sink and drown in consideration and dismay I am frustrated Let me look less jaded I’d rather watch and observe sadly… I can’t do anything about it unfortunately Turn off the television Look into my weary eyes It’s ultimately your decision If you want to believe in truths or lies Just so that you know I ran into your mind's snow Your brain is glitching insane We both are on a different lane Chasing…inside...snow… I don’t know why I do so Just so that you know, I seek the truth behind the lie, you know? Chasing…outside…snow

Hi J.W. another write crafted in your own inimitable style. The snow is flowing in this write. Your creativity comes to the fore as your words paint your snow canvas. I lose myself in your imagination. Have a wonderful Wednesday....Mike.

Wow! So well written, J.W..The last stanza reminded me of a short story I read years ago entitled "Silent Snow, Secret Snow". All the best, Warren
