this is the type of haiku I like (which I mentioned at your blog as an example of a rule broken that the modern haiku guys do not like) To imagine the gold dust at your feet. I think that is just FINE to write a haiku that way. this is one of your best haiku.

I really like this one and gold dust at your feet. For me, haiku are cool when using figurative language.

Interestingly, (I think), your words directed me to the Biblical patriarch, Jacob. When he dreamed of a ladder to Heaven (Stairway to Heaven, Led Zeppelin, anyone?), Jacob saw angels ascending and descending, AND his head was in the heavens, while his feet remained firmly planted on earth...Kudos on this Haiku, Line! :)gw
