Chasing Shadows
Shadows laugh
Twirling in the spotlight
Of memories when
We were in love...
I chase those shadows
Then turn and run, yet
They follow me, teasing
My heart...
Filling my head with thoughts
Of your kisses,
Your caresses...
Chasing shadows of love
Turned up-side-down...
Wish I could blame it on
Our youth, but
We were old enough,
To know better.
