Chasing His Stuck Up Wife

Let her go we urge our cousin
but he is enthralled, entranced,
totally gaga crazy about her

She calls him names
She puts him down
She makes fun of him
She teases him
She threatens him
She pokes and prods him
She irritates him to the edge of the grand canyon

And yet, there he goes,
Chasing her like a show pony

They say love is blind, this lady seems dreadfully unkind, I agree he should let her go Caren... Belle

So true so many times, Caren. I liked your poem. Why do these types seem to be attracted to one another? I don't know.

I have no idea, but it is such a non-winning combination.
