Chase
Do you chase a feeling
or try to erase it?
I spend a lot of time captivated
by the little tunes that are on
constant replay in my head
Do I dare face it?
These voices humor me
therefore I sucked them up
and now they adorn me like jewelry
my heart owns a cell phone
and texts my mind funny little jokes
only to me their more like ironic little pokes
If the one in question
sets your soul on fire
would you want to escape
from your hearts damnation?
probably not....
