Charming traditions

Two elves on a shelf
double the trouble.

They sit there conniving,
getting into mischief,
making life interesting
by spicing it up a bit.

What would Christmas be
without elves on a shelf?

Andrea Dietrich December 18, 2025 at 8:39 AM I used to have little figurines like those that I put out for Xmas decorations. Now I just leave things all boxed up. I think in my old age I lost my motivation to decorate for holidays Line Gauthier December 18, 2025 at 12:27 PM I find every year is different ~ I think it's best to start decorating early so the decorations stay longer (ie more worth the effort). By the time we see them as clutter, we get that sudden surge of energy to gather them up and put them away again.
