Charlie Brown World

Yesterday I had my first blind date,
with a guy I met online I thought it was fate.
I met him at a nice high class restaurant,
as he came across the room he looked gaunt.
I thought to myself that was kind of strange,
his featured was somewhat rearranged.
But I gave him the benefit of doubt,
I knew he had many things to chat about.
He sat down and he started to talk, I couldn't understand
and I was instantly transported to Charlie Brown land.
I had to make my exit without being terribly rude,
I ate something awful, I left and blamed the food.

* Fictional about a first date. It was inspired by the “First Date” contest
