Charlie and Me Let Us Be Free

charlie an me just want to be free, can nobody see
We suffer alone with our inside moans and groans
We both feel that we were left to suffer all alone
Why are we stuck in the past with no one to care
nightmares keep coming, like someone's drumming
Threatening and shouting with horrible feelings
Fear and pain are always close by, Why?

Sometimes you want it to just stay away
Must I always see the colour of horrible grey
We try to stick together Charlie and me
We just want the bad things to let us be
We both don’t understand how love is cruel
you need it so much just like a car needs fuel

I struggle to cope nearly every day, why do I pay
We find it tough Charlie an me, when can we be free
Trying to find my way in the dark, but I’m not a shark
Can anyone help Charlie and me
Just take it away let us be free
