Chap From Calcutta

There was an old chap from Calcutta,
Who bought a new wood as a putter.
‘A bogey?’ he coughed.
‘This green isn’t soft -’
And swallowed a ball in mid-splutter.

It can be a frustrating game. But a wood for a putter is lame. And excuses don't matter when you blame it on chatter. Just like sex, when it's soft's not the same. Love your limy's Jack. Peace. :)

A golfer's nightmare done up in great style with your very special touch. Can I add a last word? "Old golfers never die, they just lose their balls."! :)

I am not sure what a bogey is, but this sure has a funny tone to it! Your meter here is just excellent , Jack.
