"Chaos Theory"
The Message is sent on a breeze
Fire eats the wounds of a Mother
Her skin blisters
cracks and peels
Her children inhale a different pollen
Drones bark messengers like Bowie's Diamond Dogs
Tables now turn
machines are giving orders to people
Face masks to hide uncertainty
We are all children wilful and ignorant
Virus borne
The colour Yellow
Skin blamed and torn by ordinary cowards and
Hooded politicians teeth fresh with juice
Impeachment is on hold, now
Butterflies flap their wings
In another country another world away
the silent streets roar
The Messenger like a Ghost
in dark shadow touches all
Holy or Unholy
The Hand has pushed one domino
It moves a symphony of Chaos
Notes sung from one mouth and swallowed by all
Invisible tentacles calling in the day dreamers
The Fallen rapture-stalled
We sit inside 4 walls
Closed windows and doors
Without blessed candles
and Holy Water
Waiting for a new morning
While the unknown Hand
Majestically drops another
