Chantry Island

Chantry Island is very famous
There is a lighthouse
Keeping sailor's safe from
             danger
Always lit up in darkness
Many years ago people lived
               there
All the houses still stand

The lighthouse keeper lived there
In the huge lighthouse with family
His job was keeping the light shine
To brighten up the darkness for 
                  ships
Keeping sailor's safe from danger
Many years ago people lived there
The empty houses still stand
Of life the life back then
An island museum now

People come to explore 
The way life was back then
The lighthouse is always lit
For the sailor's to be safe
A lighthouse on Chantry island
With the history of the past.
