Changing Ways

Changing ways have entered my world
Changing ways have left different levels of beauty and dignity and happiness
Changing ways have entered my world
Changing ways have left hatred and bitterness to my once sweet taste buds
Changing ways I no longer like what you've become
Changing ways I can no longer fight for my cause
Changing ways I've given up not because i'm weak but because I am strong
Changing ways I feel I need to release myself from these chains and breathe
Changing ways you have become violent and I feel violated with words of abuse
Changing ways you have lifted your hand of anger and struck me with disrespect
Changing ways I no longer wish to seek the proper answers for now I realize it's
just a part of life
Changing ways only you know why all the bumps along the journey have now
turned to bruises and abuse
Changing ways I hold my head high and refuse to walk in shame
Changing ways your actions are at fault and my emotion is unpredictable
Changing ways why I call you this name is truth
Changing ways how funny people change
Changing ways it is my turn to turn the page and no longer play with you in your
game
Changing ways from the start till the end amazingly blinded I was by your hands
Changing ways leave
Changing ways you are no longer a part of my world
