Changing Places

.......... Change Places  .........

It would be interesting if you had to live my life for one day,
To experience stroke and its feelings in every way,
The feeling of waking up in a hospital bed,
Unable to talk, or understand  what's going on in your head,

Or the frustration of opening your mouth to make a sound,
And  not being understood  by the people standing around,
Or the feeling of not getting your hand to do a simple thing,,
Like when you want a nurse for the bell to ring ,

And  feeling guilty for what your putting your family through,
Or sometimes not remembering one and one is two,
The feeling of total utter fear,
That if you close your eyes your loose them that are dear,

Or the feeling of not being able to sleep at. Night,
Cause you and your brain are in a constant fight ,
Or the feeling of fatigue not letting go,
Making you feel as low as low ,

Yes there's a lot more to strokes then you can  know,
And it's not like away it will ever go
For it totally changes your life in every way
So how would you like to be in my shoes for just one day ..
