Changing

For we have thought the longer thoughts
And trod the road to stray.
And we have sung the songs of hill,
Then uttered words of fray;
But to Him we owe these lives we owed
Now it's time to lay
A glowing candle in shadowed path
And humbled our knees to pray.

Amen this was a beautiful poem. Sometimes I'm wordless. Its all the same here. There was a quality to it, kind of lets say divine magic. Superb! Best wishes, Chitra

This is lovely,...it is a poem, but almost reminds me of an old folk song. Beautiful! ~ Carrie
