Changes

I remember being in High School,
Doing things because they were 'cool'.
Skipping class and making friends,
Relationships I thought would never end.

I have great memories from way back when,
But time goes by and people grow.
The friends I had back then,
Now I barely know.

We've all gone our separate ways,
And swore we'd keep in touch,
Sent an occasional card out on holidays,
But now I miss them all so much.

I miss the crazy things we did;
I was a wild, imaginative kid.
I wouldn't change it either way,
Because it's shaped who I am today.
