Change Those Dirty Diapers

an adult whose mind

has been soiled by the filth

he daily ingests

has no parent to change him

no cute child - he disgusts us

...as the T-shirt says..."Politicians, like diapers, should be changed frequently....and for the same reason". Thanks for participating in the contest Andrea..

Yours is a superb take on this contest theme, Andrea. The title tricked me into thinking it was going to be humorous, but the serious content is also appreciated. Regards // paul

I like the title. It makes remember Moses of the old testament when God told him, "remove those sandals.."

This has veracity! Small children are cute...an adult child perverse. Nicely said! Top notch!

Well done, Andrea. Yep that wraps it up. There are disgusting people out there who would do well to change the dirty diaper they walk around in while arrogantly and noxiously polluting everyone's environment.

It is sometimes a difficult challenge to avoid the filth that surrounds us; I think whether it affects our mind depends on how we were brought up. I do worry about the next generation. Nicely written, Andrea, best of luck. John

Pretty harsh sounding words! Wish you would explain this ode to me! I just put out a new chapbook "Of Other Things". Peace & Love Matthew Anish

How true Andrea, there does not seem to be any constraints anymore, filth everywhere, and comedy full of bad language that's supposed to be funny , I dont think so . Good luck. Tom.
