Change of Seasons

As the night creeps in so
does the cold air
I sometimes think that it’s
not being fair
The trees begin to look sad,
No green color anymore
For winter is knocking on
their back door
Fall is beautiful but it starts
the race at full go
I so wish it could begin really
really slow
The feel in the air has a whole
different vibe to it now
Can we turn back time ? Please
tell me how
The vibrant summer colors start
to fade away
It’s just not fair, why can’t they
stay?
Father Time is about to change
and the dark will soon come
quick
And then around the corner who
comes again? but the jolly ol
fella we call St Nick
A wrinkle in time has made
another mark
A new year will then be upon us
awaiting our embark
